Michael Fay is a systems architect and behavioral theorist specializing in the design of ethical digital-physical ecosystems. Since 2015, he has dedicated his career to exploring how newly designed digital artifacts impact human behavior and social development. With a decade of leadership across cross-disciplinary teams, Michael bridges the gap between technical execution and responsible stewardship.

His portfolio includes architecting the human-centric infrastructure for The University of Akron’s Esports Program , directing the operations of the Rutgers Esports Center , and leading the development of the award-winning, narrative-based game BREAKAWAY! to address global social issues.

At his core, Michael believes that technology reaches its highest potential only when designed with intentionality, safety, and human flourishing at its center. He seeks to lead initiatives in User Safety, Trust, and Tech Ethics that translate the vision of a socially responsible future into the operational reality of today.
